I feel much better today after a blah feeling on Saturday. Got up early this morning and did my 2.5 miles around the neighborhood. It really is a beautiful day here. My eats for today are:
Prebreakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast: Protein Shake
Snack: Oatmeal
Lunch: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: Quest Protein Bar
Snack: Vitatop
Dinner: Roast Beef Pita
Snack: NSA Ice Cream Bar

I have woken up WAY on the wrong side of the bed today. Its easing a little, but hope it gets better. Im very grouchy and having a hard time wiping this scowl off my face. Not good. Its the alarm's fault for waiking me up!!
Officially started low carb today. Hate having to do this, but its a last ditch effort. Im optimistic, but only time will tell.
Eats for today:
Coffee w/ cream
Scrambled egg w/ cheese and 2 slices bacon
garden salad
Shake
Ham and cheese rollups
Grilled chicken breast and steamed vegs
At least I know I'll get my protein in! I have ordered some Quest bars too. Cant wait...they should help with the sweet cravings.
Bootcamp tonight.
Mary - my body used all 25 gr of carbs in quest bars as sugar - even the so called fiber. My BS went up from 100 to 200 in 20 min after eating the quest bar. I don't belive they are low carb - just saying..I dumped on them too when I ate one first thing in the morning on an empthy pouch.
If you can - check your BS (blood sugar) before and after eating the bar. Some people amy be OK with them - but for me the quest bars were not low carb. I know I am not the only one - some other people post op RNY also reported dumping on more than 1/2 bar.

I have eaten them before and never had a problem with them. I am a dumper and have rh, but Im strictly limiting my carbs Atkins Induction style. Maybe I'll wait for my first two weeks before introducing them.
Eats today:
coffee + coconut milk
2 harb boiled eggs
not sure what else but I have ready :
pork roast + veggies
peanuts
protein shake
protein cookies
cheese- baby bell
then evening plan to eat some fish or salmon burger with veggies.
