Good evening, BOTT friends,
Just got in from a birthday dinner for my mom (she turned 82 today! YEA!!) at Olive Garden. I would've preferred a nice oceanfront seafood restaurant, but HER birthday, HER choice. We had a very nice time though. I searched the menu online last night, so I knew exactly what I would order and the calories. My sister bought cheesecake from Sam's, and they said it was delicious. I had watermelon for my dessert when I returned home. I ordered the chicken marsala (not the stuffed one) and substituted roasted asparagus for the potatoes. It was good, but a broiled seafood platter would've been heavenly! Maybe for MY birthday :)
Off to ride my recumbent bike for a little while. Today I ate:
B: Iced coffee with Splenda, 2 tbsps SF creamer, 5 tbsps FF half & half
S: 3/4 c pistachios, 2 c watermelon chunks
L: none
D: Olive Garden minestrone (minus the pasta shells), chicken marsala, 1/3 of the roasted asparagus
S: 2 c watermelon chunks

I am with Tess on the cheesecake. That is the only dessert that I really can have a bite and not get RH.. I always loved Cheesecake, but now - I love it even more...
BTW: for my Birthday - my friends took me out to dinner.. The did not want dessert - but I told them - " i is my birthday - you guys going to have cheesecake..."... I had a bite... really one.. it was enough...
