Back On Track Together

Melissa, good idea, thank you. I am going to stop by the grocery store on my way home from work and buy some healthy snacks to have on hand. Love the SF jello...heck, even if I go all out on a SF jello binge, it's better than the high carb sliders I've been devouring. Maybe I should break out my crocheting again. : ) At the rate I was going, I will have a scarf that would reach from the west coast to the east coast in no time at all!
Love this BOTT family!!!

Hey there guys...Didn't post last night, but nothing has changed. Stayed true to my plan, and bike workout was done. Iris, I have to agree...I also love the discussions here, and I am so happy to see more people on board. The enthusiasm is so uplifting (Gaby, you are the epitome of sunshine on a dark day), and everyone is just so PUMPED!! It brings Debra to my mind (Tess, Iris and others...remember her). She was like a wake up call in the early morn. Hope she is doing well.
I don't usually post much during the day, but I do read what's going on. Since I am a night owl, I normally use my day (when not running errands or besieged with MD appts) for cat-napping and such. Heck, I just finished breakfast (guess I should say brunch) and it's 2pm. As for shopping, I can't say I ever enjoyed it, unless I was shopping for a baby gift or Christmas presents. I love the fact that I can wear clothes from any store now, but I still don't really like to shop. Maybe if I had more money ![]()
Good evening, BOTT friends,
Not a bad day today, pain-wise or otherwise. Watching late night TV now when I should be trying to sleep. I have an appointment with my neurosurgeon tomorrow to discuss the results of my myelogram (done several weeks ago) and what we will do about things. Hoping all goes well. I did 60 mins on my recumbent bike this evening, covering 9.2 miles. My dinner was an odd one. I cooked smoked turkey necks to make a "pot liquor/likker" (broth) for some collard greens. I ate one of them for dinner (about 3 ozs meat) and some fruit. Luckily, the boiling removed some of the sodium content. Today I ate:
B: BLT with 5 strips low sodium turkey bacon, sandwich thin, 2 tsps mayo, lettuce, tomato, coffee with splenda and 4 tbsps SF creamer
L: 1/2 c tuna salad on sandwich thin, 1 slice cheddar
S: 2 strips same turkey bacon
D: 3 ozs smoked turkey neck meat, 1 c strawberries, 2 1/2 c watermelon chunks
Goodnight friends :)

Tess
