Back On Track Together
Does anyone practice the rule of waiting to drink after eating still??
Sorry if silly question, but as back to basics... I wondered because I am trying to do this, going back to waiting 30-45 mins. after eating to drink any liquids and or beverages?
Does anyone else still do this? If we drank to soon it will flush food out the pouch RNY-. to fast, And then hunger may set in again sooner then necessary? Just wondering is all? Need to get my hw done, so I will be checking back in later. Have a Good- Sunday Afternoon ALL! I have to squeeze some exercise in here some where to for today?? Perhaps dvd later, if I don't feel the desire to walk out doors today, "Cold" but walking always warms me up.
Thanks-Jbug
Since I am back n track, I am making the effort to stop drink 30 minutes before and after eating. Also I am not drinking and carbonated beverages. Most of my fluids are water, crystal lite and hot tea since it has been so cold. I just couldn't do the walk in the cold today. I will hit the gym on tomorrow. Have a great evening.

Thanks for your input. After the surgery I was never a huge soda drinker ever again. Occasionally I will have some of the Canada dry
Cranberry ginger ale, it is so good. It's a treat when I have it.
I have been trying to wait for the 30 mins. after meals, never really thought about before a meal. That would have me thinking to hard.
Chat with you soon!

O Yea. Unless I had a day that I had problem getting enough food- proteins in me. Then I may drink with or right after eating. So I can get more proteins soon after that.
I can drin****il I start eating. No problem there.
