Hello everyone...how was your weekend?
I was able to clean my fridge, cook some taco pork and check the freezer for food I have at home for this week. I also sent up 40 days worth of daily vitamins and minerals... ( i take a few extra based on my labs and my condition - i.e. thyroid support, Vit K, K2, D3, A, etc)
I baked some protein snacks for me to have for grab and go (I call them "protein cookies" - but they are really not..) . I take eggs, some fat , mix that with water and stevia... then add mix of protein powder, coconut flour, and some nuts or coconut flakes. I form cookies, and bake that... then dry that - so they are crispy and they can be stored in a car, or my purse for a couple of weeks. I use them instead of protein bars. commercial protein bars have either whey or soy (allergies) or too much sugar ... so I make my own low carb "proteins cookies". I measure all I put in them and create a recipe in MFP to know nutritional content and to know what is the app 200 cal serving size (in this case - 5 cookies)
Today eats:
coffee + miralax (morning vitamins)
Protein cookies
taco pork + pickles
same
D; chicken salad, maybe
LNS: protein cookies or nuts.
