Thanks for Embracing Me

My name is Stacy (footprintsx2) and I am grateful to be part of this group.  My weight loss journey has been going on for years, but it has been on one month since I have had WLS.  I am finding the support from this website to be extremely helpful, and I look forward to receiving and giving the same style support from this group.

I have been plagued with obesity for many years.  My weight has been a huge contributing factor to other illness such as PCOS, diabetes, HBP, and many other things.  Since having my surgery last month my health has improved tremendously.  I am still learning about all of the factor contributing to WLS and I very happy to have you as my new group of friends to help along the way.

Congratulations in all you have accomplished so far ! There will be so many more wow moments for you to come .  I know first hand as someone who suffered so many co-morbities before surgery, to have none of them now . So I look forward to seeing you rid yourselves of your other illnesses. WLS truly does help to cure so much . For me , I had my last injection of insulin the night after my surgery . I have been symptom free for almost 7 years.
I have friends who had PCOS ,to now after WLS , free from it . Most went on to have healthy babies and a normal cycle .

We are a caring group , supportive group and most of all .. we are all walking the same walk with so much to share .

If ever you need me I am here for you . As your leader , Life coach .. and friend ..

Always believe in yourself and let nothing stop you from reaching your goals ..

Thank you!  I am currently having WOW moments and struggles at the same time.  People look at me and can't believe the weight loss.  I am coping with parent who is very ill and it brings up those moments of stress where I want to put all the wrong foods in my mouth.  Physically I know I can not do this and realistically I don't want to.  It is an old habit I am truly being tested to break. I appreciate this group because I can read through the discussions and be reminded of all the support out there.  It definitely gives me something to lean on!
