Paula looked beautiful in the dress she wore to the wedding. Can't wait to see more pictures.
My son's cousin (via his birth family) had her second child yesterday morning. Alton joins his sister Violet. DS has been very close to her since they met when they were both 14. They look enough alike to be twins.
DH and I had a relatively lazy day yesterday other than the Justice walk and yoga. After that we hung out on the beach in the shade (well we did take a beach walk so I guess that counts as activity sort of). Last night we went to Happy Hour at the main club, then had dinner at the Beach Club. Yummy mussels for dinner. So funny that they are always on menus as appetizers but I still can't eat them all.
This morning there is the requisite walk (early these days to beat the heat), then water aerobics. DH needs to try on the suit he ordered so the pants can be hemmed and I am picking up my dresses for the 2 weddings this year. They were supposed to be done a week ago but the seamstress needed extra time. We are relieved that both are done in time for our trip back north in 8 days. We did not have time to have the alterations done there (and didn't know where to go in DH's town). Oh and I have to buff the last painted furniture piece and put the starfish knobs on so that project is complete.
Have a stupendous Saturday!

Weddings and puppies ! What could be better ? I'm back in and showered after a great time kayaking. Weight is 132.8, and I didn't take my shot last week. The food noise is minimal, and I'm just going to see how it goes.

Ocean, I'm glad it's all going so well for you. I was also glad to hear that your catfisher is a real person and a potential whatever-you-might-want these days. Most of life's big decisions are risky. But it's only sensible to minimize the risks we take.
I think that we're all much more savvy than the average bear about the virtual realm we all live in. I shudder for friends and family who haven't seen as much of the world as we have and struggle to navigate everything from romantic to financial to travel challenges. I do realize that one day I'll have to turn the reins of my life over to someone younger and savvier than me.

Good luck off the shot. I don't take much but am afraid to go off completely. I love that maintaining doesn't require constant willpower.

124.8 lbs this morning. Weighing below 125 weirds me out and gives me permission to eat something unusual and tasty--however that combo presents itself.
I'm soaking in the bathtub right now--no workers in the house on a Saturday! I'm sipping half an ounce of excellent bourbon, which is permissible in Kentucky any time of the day. Tonight's plan is to grill a steak and add a baked potato and green peas. Simple but lovely.
Paula, I know you're probably involved in post-nuptial events, but we look forward to a full debrief--either here or on TT. You really did look gorgeous and so very fit in your wedding dress. You and your hard work deserve all the kudos you've received!
Thanks to all for your appreciation of and outrage for our painting traumas. However, eventually this too shall end.
It's another gorgeous spring day here. Such a wet spring has made for great grass and world class blooms. We did have thunderstorms and tornado warnings last night. The grand dog who spent 3 hours with us whimpered and trembled terribly in bed with us--storms and thunder are one of his phobias.
That's all the news fit to print!
