Sometimes after a long week on Friday when I'm going to sleep I say, hello bed, I've missed you! You're giving those vibes :) How delicious to finally sleep comfortably when you're really tired.

What a relief for you to be home and to know your Mom is well enough for you to leave. Enjoy it.

I noted that DS3 was there with your DH. They must all get along well. Nice to be able to blend a family even when the kids are older. Having a compatible partner apparently leads to compatible children. I was surprised when my eldest stepdaughter introduced me to someone last year as her stepmother vs my Dad's wife. My DS called DH the other day and I heard him say "Love you" when they were getting off the phone. I started being really careful about always telling my children and other family members that after my eldest got cancer. It's funny how 2 words can mean so much.
