LOL, it's in the 60s here and I am wearing a regular weight sweater! I'm having a Northern California Coast experience. I bet the family is so happy to have the two of you there!
Great family visit for you but no AC? That seems odd in that part of California. Though I guess it is dry heat unlike Florida where everything would get moldy with the humidity it there isn't enough airflow.
