119 - plus 1.4 due to holiday eating.
The takeout turkey dinner was amazing! Just like a home cooked meal. The turkey was still on the bone so if I were inclined to make soup afterwards I could (I am not though). Great mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gorgeous mixed color carrots. We also had a great charcuterie board which my DS arranged for remotely (see pictures below).
It is relatively cool today - the high will be 70 at about noon time with a cool, gusty north wind. It will warm up here after today, but I have to figure out what the crew wants to do. The guys are golfing, but don't know what the girls want to do. We could potentially shelter from the wind at the beach club if they want one last day of that. Or maybe poke around in our downtown (very cute area)?
Last night sleeping on the sofa bed. It has been quite comfortable but I am looking forward to getting my house back in order again. I wonder how many articles of clothing or shoes will be left behind?
I have my second laser treatment today. The last one worked so well, I wonder what the result will be this time. The spots it didn't get are mostly near my ears and close to my hairline so maybe they can get at them with a smaller instrument?

Gah! User error. I lost my post when I was almost done.
I'm gonna dictate this one. That might be easier. I had a really nice day yesterday. While everything smelled right and delicious, unfortunately my dressing came out too wet, Wah! And my appetite was fairly low, so I didn't eat a lot of dinner. I did eat a lot of dessert...
I exchanged my grandma's cranberries for some decadent desserts with my neighbor. They are so nice. He's my ally on the board. While I was over there making the exchange, he was cleaning up the house and had a robot window cleaner. I had looked at those in the past and wondered if it was just a novelty that was too good to be true. They said it's been terrific. They have five big dogs as his wife is a dog handler on the county search and rescue team. Those dogs get nose prints all over their plentiful windows. So I came home and ordered one. He said the one and only time they had their windows professionally cleaned it was $1200 and the dogs had them dirty in a minute. So this one being less than $400 seems like a bargain. Liz, I will report back if it works, as I know you have a lot of glass. Link
All my Christmas decorations are up! And the tree doesn't seem to be leaning quite as bad.
Today I need to work on getting things off of the kitchen counters for the construction and setting myself up for a week of making do with making meals in the laundry room. My front loader washing machine is leaking out the bottom of the door so I spent some time investigating that yesterday online and found it's probably dog hair clogging the drain in the gasket. So I'll be trying to clean that out today. Yuck. I also need to vacuum. My life is ruled by dog hair!
Take care all!
Funny you should mention the robot window cleaner. Our windows and mirrors looked great after they were cleaned but the granddaughter has been sticking the suction cups on the bottom of her phone on all the mirrors and they are all marked up! Arghhh! I just noticed it on the dining room mirror and her mother casually mentioned that pretty much every mirror has those marks now - they do!

Good morning and happy Black Friday for those of you are into such shopping events. I have a feeling, none of us really are, though.I am certainly not.
I had toyed with the idea of putting up the tree today, but instead I am opting for a day of recuperation. I can do the tree tomorrow. I slept a good 10 hours. I finally collapsed into bed about 10:30 - leaving the dogs out with Ron. Lord only knows when he went to bed and put the dogs away for the night. I didn't awaken until after 7. I was getting ready to get up and let the dogs out, but Ron beat me to it. So I closed my eyes and slept for another hour!!!!
202.0 Who loses weight on Thanksgiving? Apparently I do. LOL! I'll take it! Though, I'm not gonna lie, I did overdo on the desserts. I had a sliver of 4 desserts after dinner and then later had ice cream and a small slice of a vanilla bundt cake. Oh, well... It was Thanksgiving.
When did cheese/meat plates become charcuterie boards? Maybe because my mom was European and these plates and boards were common place at all family gatherings since I was a little boy I am jaded, but I'm fascinated by the obsession Americans have with charcuterie boards. They are becoming almost an art form!
Big group! Love the picture!
I think sometimes when calories are being restricted day after day that the body holds onto excess weight for dear life but then when a higher calorie day comes it breathes a sigh of relief and lets that weight go. This may sound crazy but I swear I have had that happen a few times.
I hate Black Friday store shopping but I did order a bunch of stuff from Amazon to cover most of my miscellaneous Christmas shopping list.

120.8 I think. I didn?t over indulge yesterday so I?m guessing this is probably just my normal pattern of going up a few pounds before going down a few pounds.
More stuff put away, a Target run for storage containers and garbage cans, and a small shop at Publix to get sour cream and taco sauce for tonight?s tacos. We threw out all of our condiments that were open when we moved so there is still quite a bit we have to buy!
I think tonight?s project will be to put together a storage cabinet for my office. We already tackled the desk and lateral file cabinet!
New lounge chairs ordered for the patio! And my countertop ice maker was delivered today!
My kids never come for Thanksgiving. Elder DD celebrates with her half brother and family in NJ, DS with his birth family, and younger DD with her in-laws. At Christmas we go to DH's elder DD's home the Saturday before Christmas to celebrate with his family and spend Christmas Day with my family (at my younger DD's home this year).
It seems like everytime I have moved I end up making uncountable trips to Home Depot. There is one of those countertop ice makers at the Cape Cod house. Works well though it uses a lot of counter space.
