Feel better soon! I hate that sensitive skin when I am getting sick.

Yesterday's snow turned out to be a decent snowstorm, about 5 inches. Roads were slick and cars were in the ditch as we drove to the movie theater to see Wake Up Dead Man ( Knives Out #3). A lot of critics and DD and DH thought it was even better than number 2, The Glass Onion. It was good, but in Glass Onion , Daniel Craig camped it up so deliciously, and I missed that in this version. Still would recommend all 3 movies in this series.
At about 10am today, DD's flight leaving at 6pm was cancelled. She is flying on Sun Country. They are a smaller airline, with fewer planes, so when they have a delay or cancellation, it's harder to rebook. DD was able to get a seat on the next available flight (which wasn't until Tuesday, at 7am). We are happy to have her another day, but she is either going to have to take a day without pay, or burn another PTO day, of which she has so few.
I spent a lot of time reading today, and looking out the window at the snow. If there's going to be snow on the ground, might as well have enough to cover up at the grass, and twigs, and dead leaves. The snowblower fired up nicely, which is always a welcome sound every winter. I baked some more banana bread, and didn't do much else, besides load and unload the dishwasher, and chat with DD whie we solve all the problems of the world. I'm saving my energy to drive to my parent's house tomorrow for the meeting with the social worker. I texted my brother to make sure he knew about it. He didn't, but he had been planning on going over to their house to check on them. I told my Mom he needed to be there too, and she said yes. I feel like some triangulation is going on again. He does A LOT of their care. I am not going to help make any decisions without his input.
What a complete and total delight that I don't have to go back to work tomorrow after having an extended break. So awesome!
Too bad DD doesn't have the type of job she can do remotely. Our local airline also only flies to our destination 2-3 times a week.
Good that both your brother and you will be there for the meeting. Best to have a united front. Fingers crossed that your parents will finally accept help.
