We need Christmas music at the house. Always lovely to listen to. We have been listening in the car but didn't have anything set up at the house so I charged the Bluetooth speaker yesterday so we can listen today.

120.4, same.

Far from a Magical Monday for me. 13 hours on the road today. We bit the bullet and stopped just past Nashville instead of the intended Louisville. We just didn't have it in us to travel any longer. Unfortunately we have to pay for both hotel rooms since it was too late to cancel the one in Louisville. Oh well, a good night's sleep is worth the extra cost.

Another big blow up with DSD. That girl is going to be the death of me. So much f/ing drama. I'm honestly at my limit with her and won't be able to bite my tongue much longer. It takes a lot to make me really mad, let's just say the F bombs were flying around our car today (DSD didn't hear any of it) I mostly just vented to DH and the dogs since they were my captive audience.

I'm glad it appears the rest of you did indeed have a magical Monday. Hoping for a Tremendous Tuesday!

I'm glad you stopped - that is a long time to drive! DSD sounds like she needs some more maturing. She will get better. Remember my DS was pretty difficult for quite a while. In fact, he still has a hard time with the idea that we will be going north less and less over the future. Which is kind of funny because I have seen him more in Florida than up north since he moved to Maine 18 months ago.

Aargh, I lost my post. Let's see, I took Kirby to the kennel. He was so excited to get to see all the other dogs, didn't look back at me. I suppose that's a good thing! of course, I worry about him and hope they're being nice to him.

the deck work is now focused on the final part, which is the stairs. According to the guy that's doing the work. It's the hardest part. I don't doubt it, they've been at it for at least two days and have at least another day to go. The project manager came by today and said it was a good thing. I had them remove all the stairs as well because they had also nailed all of that straight into the stucco with no flashing. I'm getting Kimble'd all over the place!

I just made an emergency run to the grocery store because I ran out of Diet Coke. Well, I would be fine tonight, Saturday Ceci would have been very upset with me for leaving her in the lurch.

I need to pack, but first I need to work on my list of what to pack. It shouldn't be hard, I don't think we're going anywhere while I'm there, so I don't need anything dressy.

I remembered to put the pool cover pump on as we're supposed to get a lot of rain while I'm gone, and I moved all the cushions into the cat patio.

Last night was really fun, I'm glad I put on my big girl pants and went.

Anyway, I should get to packing. Hope everybody's having a good day!

You really have been Kimbled but I'm sure it will feel great once you have things up to snuff in your home. Kirby will likely have a grand time, but I bet he will be tired when he gets home.
