118.4 - unchanged, even after a popcorn snack yesterday afternoon, meatloaf and potatoes for dinner, then a small slice of homemade carrot cake back at the house. All worth having btw, which is my mantra - no point in eating something unless it is worth it. I checked my weight a year ago and I am a pound less right now. So I have stayed in the same relative range for about 15 months. Thank you tirzepatide for making maintenance easy.
Safe travels to Paula, CC, and DD's family. Lots of movement today on Christmas Eve Eve.
We have NO plans today!!! Probably a short food store run, maybe some cookie baking, then leftovers for dinner. Definitely Christmas music over the charged Bluetooth speaker, followed by a Christmas movie. We watched White Christmas last night. Still makes me teary eyed in certain parts.
This morning we hope to get in a true Justice walk. Yesterday we only made it halfway down the road as the wind was so strong that with the cold air we were all frozen. Justice was happy to dash back to the house. There is a chance of slight snow here this morning followed by rain. But there might be enough snow on the ground in Central Massachusetts where DD lives for there to be a white Christmas at her home on Thursday. A small amount not affecting travel is fine with me.
Have a tree lighting Tuesday!

A day of rest for you Liz! Yay! Hopefully the weather will cooperate so you get a good Justice walk in. I?ll be missing my new found water aerobics and neighborhood walks while in WI.
Feeling a bit better about DSD situation this morning, not that anything has changed, but dust has settled a bit and sleep was had after a very long day on the road. It is still undetermined if she will stay with us or aunt now. Her choice! The blow up happened because I received an email in the car yesterday from the Air Bnb we are staying at stating their pet policy which was not on their listing whatsoever. Listing simply said pets welcome! Anyway, the email states that 2 pets max are allowed and that there is a $70 charge per pet. In the past, with other Air Bnbs, limits and extra charges have always been disclosed in the listing. I text her letting her know limits and suggested that she either leave the cat home with her husband that has to work and is unable to attend Christmas or have the cat stay at her aunts house which is near our Air Bnb. She blew a gasket and reamed me out a new one for ruining her Christmas with the news and she needed to take her emergency anxiety medicine and it is all my fault! I?ll try my best to just let it go! Lord please help me!
Travel today so far has been good. Got through Louisville and Indianapolis with no major delays. Fingers crossed the same goes for Chicago and Milwaukee. After Milwaukee we are home free! Can?t wait to hug my boys!
Safe travels for those traveling and/or having family traveling!
DSD sounds like she is strung a little tight right now. Too bad she took it out on you, but in all likelihood anything a bit off probably would have caused her anxiety to explode. Maybe leaving her new husband is part of it. Tis the season for some people. Hoping sleep on her end as well helped her be in a new frame of mind today too.

Yes, DSD is sad her DH can?t be at Christmas and her cat is an emotional support animal and like her baby, but she acts like I picked this rental just to make her life difficult when in fact I booked it on her recommendation because she stayed there for a bridal shower weekend over the summer! I did email the owner after she had a hissy fit to see if he would make an exception to his rule and he will let the cat stay, but she may still decide to stay at her aunts. I?ll be the bigger person and suck it up for family harmony.

Ugh, Paula! Sounds like she let the stress get the best of her.
I'm sitting in the terminal. With TSA precheck, I breezed through. I parked, found TSA (it always feels like the first time I've been here), got screened, stopped in the bathroom and was sitting at my gate all in 20 minutes. Woohoo! Man, that's a long drive in the dark. My audiobook helped. Bonus, they had the body scanner closed off and were using the metal detector so my arms didn't set it off. My arms are so weirdly fat compared to the rest of me it must look like I'm smuggling something. Always a boost to my self-esteem (sarcasm).
I'm glad I stayed at my house last night. I didn't sleep long, but what I got was good.
Craziness on the delivery front. A package I was expecting yesterday got delayed until today. Then my cousin surprised me with Grater's ice cream for Christmas and that's coming today. And then a replacement plant for a plant I ordered that came cold damaged a week ago is coming today after them swearing it wouldn't come until next week. Argh!!!! So I had to ask my crazy neighbor to not only make sure the first package didn't sit in the rain, then I had to ask her to unpac**** cream and put it in my freezer. AND unpack the large plant and water it! Jeez. (I do like the plants though. They're from Easyplant and have self-watering reservoirs.)
Anyway, that's my story today. I get to MI at 6:50 after leaving the house at 5:50am. Long day. Take care everyone!
I left the boots...
So jealous about your Graeter's ice cream delivery! My absolute favorite ice cream is their toffee chip. We would often have it delivered for the Holidays!
Pre check sounds like it is the way to go. I'm always afraid that my defibrillator will make them pause at the scanner but I usually can walk right through it, wires going from my chest to heart and all!
DH's pacemaker always clears but my replacement shoulder sets the detectors off about 60% of the time. Pre-check is the best! DH had it for years and insisted that I get it. So worth it! My DD got the same instruction from her DH (both DHs traveled a lot for business), and she loves it too.

It sure is a pain when deliveries get mucked up like that! Always seems to happen when I travel unless I leave a lot of leeway (which I tried to do this year). But you can't control a gift sent by someone else!
Long travel day but your Dad and Stepmom will be thrilled to have you there for Christmas.
