Liz, the beach day with kayaking etc. sounds fun. BBQ as long as it is just grilled without actual BBQ sauce or rubs sounds good too!

120 even today!

Cold again today! We went to try and get our new golf cart woes fixed today and will need to talk with the GM who is at the PGAs for the next week. They better do what's right and give us a new cart but we already heard the all sales are final spiel. Not if the new cart you get is clearly not new!!!!

We turned in our passport paperwork today. The city government buildings were downtown Fort Myers so we went out for lunch while in the area. We found a really good lobster roll place!

Tonight was fried clams and fresh salad from my new lanai garden. A few card games and wine and soon we will be ready for bed! Such a life!

Did you buy it with a credit card? I wonder if you can dispute it that way if they don't make it right?

Wrote a check to not pay the extra credit card fees!

Sales being final should just mean you can't get your money back not that you can't exchange for a cart that is as they described it and not in used shape!

Impressed that you have a garden! Was it already there or did you plant it?

I put it in, very small herb garden with basil, mint (for Mojitos), rosemary and then a lettuce mix! I'll try to add cilantro but have never had luck growing it!

I will never understand how cilantro got such a hold on Mexican and Asian cuisines given how finicky it is about being grown in the heat. The slightest elevation in temperature and it bolts and turns bitter!
