We are sitting in the Port of San Juan right now at 7 am waiting for our room service breakfast to be delivered. Our bags had to be packed and outside in the hall by 6 am. One of the downsides of cruising.
Fairly slow day yesterday going onto Tortola to have a snack and a couple of painkillers. The weather was beautiful even though the forecast called for rain at anytime. Not much interesting in the shops there so I just spent the rest of the ship credit we had to buy a few articles of clothing and some jewelry. The credits are not refundable, we had an all-inclusive plan, and we didn't take any excursions so it had to be used in the shop ;)
We need to shower after breakfast and be off the boat by 9 am. Next stop is a resort on the beach about 15 minutes away by cab. We will be there for 3 nights returning home on Monday.
Have a phenomenal Friday!

I talked to my folks this morning and the wind chill was -30! Brr. We have only dipped briefly below freezing on a couple of nights. The plants are all confused and sprouting when they should be sleeping. The weeds especially. The neighborhood suspends its landscape maintenance in the winter because it's normally not needed. So the weeds are having a party out there.
The water weight is all gone. No change today from yesterday. I sent this to Peps, but I bought something silly, that could be cool and motivating. It's a onesie that you put on and scan yourself with your camera and it takes all your measurements and tells you how your body is changing over time. I've never been good with a tape measure because I never know if I have it in exactly the right place or holding it too tight or too loose. Should be fun! For a hundred bucks, I've wasted more than that on stuff that didn't work.
I need to go to the store today. Tonight I'm having dinner with friends. In there somewhere Kirby needs a walk.
The tumbleweed pile is waiting to go. I did the math and it's basically 2400 cubic feet of thorny weeds! 20'x20'x6'.
That's it for me. Take care all!
