119.8 - back down .2 even with the snacky eating. We had salsa and chips, shrimp, a hot dip with chili, cream cheese and cheese, and split a bread pudding slice four ways.
I thought Bad Bunny's show was good and it was intriguing how they set up the stage. The Seahawks dominated the game and the Patriots deserved to lose. Not Drake Maye's best performance.
Yesterday afternoon we finally went to the beach. It was south facing so the wind was at our back which made it quite warm. A lot of people came and went in sweatshirts and long pants because they probably thought it would be cold.
Today might be another beach day unless we go with our friends for a late lunch. I'd personally rather do an early dinner, but we shall see how it goes.
I miss watching the Olympics. Our friends seem to have zero interest in it. I'd like to watch a lot of events but especially figure skating, some of the skiing, and the bobsled/luge stuff. And maybe a little speed skating. Curling is just a little too slow for me. They did have a curling club in my former town on Cape Cod though and a friend of mine there used to do it.
Have a marvelous Monday!

The bars in MI with outdoor space have curling courts (?) in the winter with teams.
I was a cleaning machine yesterday! Started with rewiping my car down as taking in the sun showed me what a bad job I had done the other day. Then I vacuumed and dusted the house and wiped down the guest bathroom. It hasn't been used, so I was making sure it wasn't dusty. I supervised the robot cleaning a few windows. And the huge job of the day: I did a fridge deep clean. Everything out, all shelves and drawers out and wiped all the hidden yuck out of the crannies and washed everything. There were so many expired or "I'm never going to use this" condiments in there. I think I stop seeing them after a while. Did you know olives could grow mold?? I sure didn't. The trash can weighed a ton rolling it out today!
I just need to vacuum the family room and make their bed and that'll be it. Oh and hit the store for some basics for them I don't eat.
Anyway, hope you all have a great day!
You are on fire! One advantage of having to get a new refrigerator is that there has been a thorough cleanup there! Won't have to think about that for a while.

Wow! Your cleaning energy is impressive!
We had so much junk in the fridge when we moved but we tossed most of the good stuff too. We were not going to bring coolers stuffed with condiments and the like! Pretty pricy to replace everything though and I still keep finding things we are missing during meal prep and with dinners!
Lots of rain this weekend, but we did have good luck Saturday morning with our boat ride. Infrastructure here is not the same as at home, and there were times when entering or exiting the boat was more difficult for me. But the crew, and even the other passengers couldn't have been any sweeter or more kind. When we had an opportunity to swim, I exited the boat just fine, by jumping off the deck into the water. Oh my, so satisfying. I thought about your Windstar cruise Liz, and how fun it must be to have the water activities deck off the back of the ship. Getting back into the boat was pretty much impossible for me. There was a ladder, but nothing to grab on the deck to hoist yourself out. All the young sailors took my hands and pulled me out of the water smoothly and onto the deck. It could have been an I'm old, this is embarrassing moment, but it was not. They cheered and were so kind. I think that's one of the lovely things about this culture. There is a lot of care and respect given to older women. We had to leave the boat by Zodiac Raft, and everyone else was being dropped off in front of this crazy stairway, with a walk back to town. When I got in, sailor said, I'm going to drop you right on the beach, and he did. So much easier. I told the other people in the raft, You can thank me for this easier exit. : )
Yesterday it rained most of the day, and we took advantage of the down time to nap and read.
Today we wanted to tour some things in the town, and we walked to an old and lovely church, and then later up the hill further to a Grotto to honor Our Lady of Lourdes. So beautiful, set up on a hill, nestled into the jungle/forest, overlooking the harbor. When we were alone in the grotto, DH pulled up some Gregorian chants/songs on Spotify, and we listened as we sat and reflected. And then a hummingbird put on a show. Anyone who knew my Mom knew she loved dragonflies and hummingbirds. DD wore one of her hummingbird broaches to her funeral. Is my Mom sending me signs she is okay, and she is still with me? Maybe. It gives me comfort whether I'm making too much of it or not.
Seaside lunch again, and now DH is taking a little nap. Our sleep gets disrupted here as we are right across from the breakfast room. I don't really care for the hotel, but it is in a super good location, so we are both being careful to not dwell on it's shortcomings, but to embrace this paradise in which it sits. Not that difficult of a task. : )
Yay for beach days Liz! I did make it to water aerobics today!
I didn'****ch any of the Super Bowl or the commercials. Heard some chatter about the half time show (mostly good). I'm not much into tv if DH isn't around. He is now in Milwaukee to be with DSD after her surgery tomorrow.
Still busy distressing frames and printing out photos. I'll post a few on TT!
Not sure what I will have for dinner. Breakfast was a Built Puff bar and snacks throughout the day consisted of wasabi peas, 3 fresh mozzarella pearls (the tiny ones) and a Swiss roll! Feeling like I want some "real " food but don't really want to make it! I do have some leftovers from last night that I can warm up!
