206.1 up a tick, but that's par for the course after a leg workout. It was a good one, too! Food was very much on point, too. Just gotta keep on it.
Liz, yay for DH!!! Glad he was feeling good about his weight loss. That is always motivation to keep going.
I finished work on the club newsletter. It was my first time doing it. Not being a wiz at layout and formatting and graphics made it quite the time consuming little project. It is 26 pages. I feel quite accomplished. However, I was up until 1:30 working on the redos my co editor wanted. She is a semi-retired editor/publisher. Working with her has been fun, but she is precise. I've learned somethings and had to bite my tongue on others. She's a wonderful and kind woman, so I roll with it. She knows of what she speaks!
More grooming today. Need to work on taxes. Workout this afternoon.... oh, and of course, the never ending garage purge...
Ocean Diane, nice to see you check in. Glad Chuck has moved on and will now focus on someone new.
Cheers!
Our tribe certainly experiences many different destinations and types of weather. I spent some time on TT yesterday, trying to problem solve again. I'm glad that the site wasn't hacked, and Bonnie wrote that post. Devon's pups have been released from the spam folder. I checked all buttons and tabs and approval is not needed for a TT member to post, but somehow multiple puppies were tagged as spam.
It is supposed to be muggy and 80's today. The yellow pollen is thick on everything on my screened porch. A few more weeks to go before it is worth it to spray everything down and uncover the outdoor furniture. Great news... apparently my most recent ex-husband has remarried! I am praying this really means he's moved on!

120.6 - DH lost 5 pounds last week on his WW routine, which he is pretty happy about. His goal is 1-2 pounds a week.
I made my old WW chicken Marsala recipe yesterday. DH really liked it. We had it with riced cauliflower and beans, so a low-point option for him. I actually have a lot of old WW recipes including a Greatest Hits cookbook. I like their recipes as they are pretty healthy, tasty, and generally easy to make.
Golf this morning. Hopefully it doesn't rain - supposedly there is a chance of showers early on but you never know around here.
I think I need to replace my old 32 inch TV (located on the lanai). I bought it really cheap 7+ years ago and it seems to be struggling with some apps. I may move up to a 43 inch version but I don't want anything very big out there. I keep the TV on a rolling stand so it can be used in our guest room/office when we have visitors.
Not much else going on here. Have a thirsty Thursday!

Teeny tiny printing on forms really annoys me. Were they all designed by people on their 20's?

I would definitely bypass the gift shops too but the costumes and cars would interest me. DH went to Memphis once for business - he thought it was more divey than Nashville. He stayed at the Peabody and said that he thought that was in the center of things and that area would be typical.

You are so lucky to have long-term friends like that!

PS - it's SNOWING. After being in the mid-80s for a bit last week and forecast to be in the low 80s next weekend. Weird weather year.
Greetings all
It's sunny but windy here. Ok by me. I did my walking at the gym, picked up eye drops for next weeks cataract thing and then went to the studio. Made a few new things but was not especially inspired. After that I had to do this ridiculous business personal property tax form for the studio. The print is so tiny it is truly illegible. I copied last years form with additions for recent acquisitions. So stupid.
Hey yesterday must have been national eat pastries day. I ate one at the studio from a box that someone brought. Fortunately the place is not like a teachers lounge so that does not happen often. More likely is that people bring fruit from their home trees.
CC those steak bites look great!! It is enough to make me actually set foot inside Costco. I love those aisles where they have all the prepared stuff. Good options.
DD enjoy the rest of Memphis. Yeah to be 80 and traveling the world is a great goal. Glad you did Graceland. Fun.
Peps I was reading about visceral fat and that is the kind that you want to be rid of as it is most harmful. So it is good you lost some of that.
Paula be grateful that you still have those long time friends. It matters. Enjoy.
DH brought home a turkey wrap so that is dinner tonight. Have some hamburger that must be cooked so the dogs get lucky,
The Big Bear eagle chicks have been named: "Sunny and Gizmo". Gender is unknown; hence neutral names.
