Hi, Mary: Thank you for your sweet message. I had forgotten about this site until I started looking for some other information. Then I found your message and it made my day. I have started my WLS process. I been to Dr. Gorospe's first consult and they have contacted my insurance. I'm going to try this week to get all my testing done. I've had a gastric band since 1991 and I hate it. Dr. Gorospe said I'd be his first patient to operate on with this band. He said he may not be to do the RNY. And I don't want the lap band. So, we'll either do the RNY or just wait for something else to come out. I'd like to have the band off anyway. I was really scared and worried about having this done again, but they reassured me that there would not be the same side effects. Now, I'm ready. Every day, all day I see things that remind me how different my life will be. By the way, how are you doing? Problems? Successes?! Have a great day! Connie
