Good luck, Jennifer! Hopefully by the time you read this entry, you'll be at home in a nice comfy chair and feeling great about your decision and your changing body! (At least as long as the pain meds last until you're healed up all nice and neat!) I read your entries, and it's really awful you had to face so much adversity from not only the medical "professionals," but seemingly everyone in your family at one point or another. I was in the same boat with a few people, inclusing my boss, some coworkers, and a couple of my friends. But ya know what?! They aren't the ones living our lives! They aren't the ones who are making life-changing decisions simply because we want to live healthier and longer. I mean, it's like folks seem to think that obese people just wake up one day and say, "Yeah, I think I'll give this a whirl," without any further thought to it. Anyway, I'm getting a bit too negative here...sorry! Wishing you a speedy recovery and even speedier results from your life-changing decision to be healthier and happier!
