Hi Kendra, it's me, Carmen. I just wanted to know how you are doing now that you are more than a year out. I'm 6 1/2 months out and have lost 75 pds so far. I'm really excited about that, I can tell you. Do you know of any support groups in Ft Worth? Dallas is too far to drive and I never show up because of it.

My best to you with your upcoming surgery. Your date will be here before you know it! I wish you a speedy recovery. This will be the greatest thing you have ever done for yourself. Please keep us posted

Hi Kendra! I read your response to a question about eating our "last meals" and thought I would check your profile. My surgery date is November 26 at the Bariatric Care Center in Wylie. So we aren't that far apart(date and location). I also have Beech Street insurance, but a different managing group, it took about 8 weeks to get my approval. I just thought there were some similarities that were kindof cool. I wish you the best of luck with your surgery. My thoughts will be with you.
