i tried calling kara today but there was no answer, so, i am hoping that she was feeling up to getting out of the house & did just that. i havent heard anything from jim so i am confident all is well with kara.

WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!! i received an email from jim today & he said that kara was going home! that means another surgery was unnecessary! i will call her tomorrow to check up on her & will post afterwards to her page. i didnt want to intrude on what i figured was going to be a very happy nite at home with her very missed family.

Dear Kara...I don't know for sure what your problems are but just wanted to tell you that my spleen had to be removed at the time of my WLS due to adhesions which caused a lot of bleeding. This was totally unexpected. Four and a half months later, I am doing fine and feeling good and have lost eighty pounds. I hope my words can be an encouragement for you. Just take one day at a time and may God bless.

Kara May the Lord provide healing, comfort and peace as you are going through this trying time. I know that it must be hard not seeing your children it would be hard for any mama but keep your focus centered on healing because they need you for the long haul. Thank the Lord Kara you have a husband who can and is looking after your children yes it is hard because you see him looking after them and he is probably trying to take care of you to but doesnt it do your heart good to know if someone has to watch them it is someone you Know loves them So Kara I am praying for you and your recovery to be speedy and for your dear husband.
