Hi Kristi! Glad to read your update and I sure hope all is going ok for you! As I mentioned in my other post to your surgery support page, I can very much relate to the question of having a large stoma or not. But yes, we need to make the best of our tool no matter what!

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~

Hi Kristi :) I totally understand what you mean about being able to eat a lot early out. While I do dump rather easy, I can also eat quite a bit most times (yes, a whole lean cuisine too (about 7 to 8 oz)). I don't allow myself to eat so much that I am full (which is a different experience than it was preop). Rather I try to stop once I am satisfied. At 4 1/2 months post-op, I am beginning to experience satisfied before being full although it was not always that way. As for slow weight loss, I also lost VERY slow most weeks although eventually the weight loss started kicking in. Hang in there and it WILL get better!!!
