George - I think you comments about the "mind" thing are right on the mark. I know that I am doing this to be healthier and live longer. I am also very aware that I will have times when my mind tells me that I want to eat something that I don't really need. At those points, I need to figure out another way to deal with that. I wish you luck on your upcoming surgery tomorrow. I'm about 3 weeks behind you. Keep us posted and until then, I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. KS

Hi George, After Monday your life will never be the same! This is an exciting life changine event, one that I have not regretted ever doing. I am six month post-op and loving life to its fullest.
