Good MORNING - and a Happy ONE YEAR Re-birthday to you!!! I found this quote and just love it! When running up a hill, it’s alright to give up as many times as you wish – as long as your feet keep moving. By - Shoma Morita M.D. I can only imagine that your experience has been wonderful. Ok everyone...I just received a call from Robin...She is going home today before noon! They are doing her paperwork as I type. I just KNOW she has gone through AMOS Support Group / Computer Withdraw. Her hubby says that he is sure she will try to get on ASAP. Sooo look out AMOS she's on her way!... I am glad that your surgery was uneventful....Here's to a speedy recovery and a new you! (((((HUGS))))

Hello everyone....I just got back from visiting with Robin. She is up and about and having a little bit of pain. However, that is to be expected...she isn't going to be out running a marathon or anything! Robin, Cheryl & Jenny were up doing laps around the Bariatric Unit. They were doing really well. She is still on clear liquids; however, they say she may get additional solids this evening if she does well. I have a feeling she will. She is a very strong willed person! She should be going home sometime tomorrow!

Hello everyone....Sheryl here....Robin's Angel...sorry for the delay in posting. However, I had a long day at the hospital yesterday. All 3 of my little angelette's had their surgery! Everyone came out fine! Robin's surgery was delayed until 3 pm. She was quite an emotional wreck to say the least prior to surgery. However, she had her friends and family there for support and ME! Anyway, back to the surgery...she is doing well and is getting around slowly. If all goes well...she should be home tomorrow after breakfast. That would be WONDERFUL! This afternoon when I get off work and visit her...I'm going to get all 3 of my angelette's up walking and racing in the halls! lol! Therefore, please make sure to send Robin a shout of support. She will enjoy reading your postings this afternoon since she won't be close to a computer. I'm sure she is going through computer withdraw at the moment! Thanks to everyone who has already posted...it really means a lot to have everyone's support whether you have had the surgery or not!

It's the best thing you'll ever do for yourself. I saw a pre-op picture of myself yesterday and cried. :) Wishing you health and happiness and no meany nurses. Myra Jo.
