Hi Dawn -- Hope all is well and you're feeling okay. From what I hear, it is all well worth the discomfort. Dr. Wasser is doing my surgery 2/4/03 and I can't wait. Would love to hear from you when you feel up to it.

Never did this before -- but felt compelled...I just called and spoke to Dawn (no, I don't know her personally) and she sounded great!! Hope I sound that good in January....Best of luckto you, Dawn. You are on the other side !!!!!!! Tammy in VA

Dawn has made it through her open RNY surgery and is doing wonderful. Although she had a hard time talking on the phone due to dry mouth, she told me several times that if it wasn't for the SUPPORT THAT YOU WONDERFUL GUYS AND GALS GAVE HER, she may not have gone throught with it! She asked me to please, please, please convey a special thank you to you all. You're all angels and I bet some of you didn't even know it! *wink*
