first i would like to say congrats i hope you are doing well. when i had surgery on aug 11 2003 i was so excited i wasnt nervous at all but i was getting over a cold but i said i wasnt sick thats how desprately i wanted this surgery done. i turned out fine thanx to god and dr gorecki. i could say that you are in good hands good luck on a speed recovery. and you will be happy with the results. god bless brenda

Hi JC, I'd say don't be nervous, but heck, I was! Of course it was all for nothing (except I probably burned a few more calories) because my surgery went fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after (it was for me anyway). Keep it positive and and that includes having ONLY supportive people around you. You've made a wonderful and couragous decision to improve your health (of course in retrospect it seems like a "no brainer" to me now). Be proud of yourself; take care of yourself and I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true......
