ANGEL DELIGHTED!!!!! Anita is doing better now. She had to have more blood but she is now able to drink and have jello and broth. She told me she is extremely tired and doesn't really feel like eating yet but she forces herself to take something. She hopes she will be ready to go home maybe tomorrow. Weigh to go, Anita! Welcome to the other side!

Angel finally has connections!!!! I talked to Anita's husband, Tim, about an hour ago and he said she is still in ICU, she gave him a scare, but she is doing better now. She lost some blood during the wls and even with fluids they still had to give her 2 pints to bring her bp back up. He said he was relieved to see her pink up right away. She should be in her own room tomorrow (Saturday) and will have her leak test in the morning. I will call to check on her in the afternoon and will post more later. Angel Report! Anita is now on the other side. When I called CMC they told me she was still in ICU but she is listed in fair condition. I will try again later to see when she can have visitors. Please keep her and her family close in thought. Pam

Hey Anita!!....good luck to you and let me just give one piece of advice...WALK, WALK, WALK....in the hospital. As soon as you can. It made a world of difference to me. I had surgery on Monday and I am home now and feeling great. Everything will go fine. I was in a ward of the hospital where the Gastric Bypass patients outnumbered the "other" patients. LOL....eveyone was doing well. Dont worry and just sit back and let the surgeons and nurses do their jobs. (((((hugs to you))))) soon this will be a thing of the past and your whyole future will be in front of you!!!
