Dianne, Just wanted to comment on the shot issue for your birth control. I took this shot and was on a plataue for the 3 months while the shot was in my system. Once I got off the shot, I didn't take the second one, I lost 12 lbs the following week. I wouldn't take this shot again if they paid me. Good luck.

I just posted with the same concerns a few days ago. I was on a 3 week plateau as well and it was the most frustrating thing I have ever endured. The only thing that I can suggest is make sure you don't miss any meals, drink, drink, drink water until your sick of it, and up your exercising. Just got off the phone w/ Dianne. Her dr said that she is doing good and if all goes well she will be hm this eve. Her potassium got kinda low so she is on a drip for now. She gets visits from the pulmonologist and respiratory therapist regularly. She no longer has the pump for the pain meds, now it is prn. She has taken something for nausea. She can get up and walk on her own. She just has to let the nurses know. She is from England and hates GA grits. She just makes them very runny w/ that yummy skim milk.
