Maureen, Good luck on your surgery tomorrow. I am 2 weeks post op with a VGB and would do it again tomorrow. I am a nurse and it was very hard for me to go through with the surgery but so far I have lost 24 pounds and I go to the MD today to be weighed again and a blood pressure check. I will be praying for you and remember to drink your water, chew, chew, chew, and walk as much as you can tolerate. They had me walking the first night after surgery while I was still in intensive care. Use the pain medication while your in the hospital also. That little button will be your best friend. Luck and best wishes to you on this eve of the first day of the rest of your life. God Bless.
