Hi Heather.I will be thinking of you on your day. My husband just had his done by Dr. McDonald and it went great,I am sure you will do the same.Post us when you fell up to it . You have a great team of nurses on the 4th floor,especially Rebecca,she is VERY able to assis the biggest. My husband was worried she could not handle him, but she soon dispelled that thought, so you sow good thoughts so you can reap a good health harvest, Agape' Cathy

heather your almost there!!! i know how excited you are. i will be 2 wks post opt tom. (TUE). and i am doing great. my surgery was also lap. once you wake up you'll be Whew i made it! a wonderful and happy feeling. OUr God is an awesome God and he will be with you all the way. Heather, I KNOW exactly how you feel right now. My surgery is July, 10, I am a nurse, and I am a bundle of nerves, a jellyroll, and a whimp, but I am doing a lot of postive imagery, saying my prayers, making peace with myself, family, and friends, and I trust in my pshysicians. I am also weighing (no pun intended) the positive results and benefits of this surgery and compare it to what the quality of my life would be like in 5 years from. I will say prayers for you and your family...My thoughts will be with you/Irene

Heather, Just keeping thinking positive thoughts. My date is the 26th of this month and I am nervous too. Every time I think of something bad, I wipe it right out of my mind and I try to think of what my life will be like after the surgery. I will keep you in my prayers this week.
