Amber, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Amber, Good luck with your surgery. My mom and my aunt also had their stomaches done in the 80's and had a lot of problems. Even though they are very supportive of me because it has changed alot. Good Luck and God Bless
