Hi Lonnette - just a note to congratulate you on your surgery and recovery. I noticed you had VBG. Is that so? If so, did you choose it or is that all your doctor does? I'm having VBG on 4/29, but my doctor won't do the "gold standard" RNY on me because I have a large umbilical hernia and have previous scarring from a gallbladder surgery. I'm told VBG is less invasive and an easier recovery, but I may not lose as much weight with it as I want to. What were you told? Are you walking for exercise yet? What are you eating? I have so many questions, I hope you don't mind? All my best wishes to you. Sharon

Hello everyone....just wanted to give another update on Lonnette's condition post-op. She's still doing great! Walking up and down the halls, even down to the first floor. She wanted so badly to get out of the hospital today but the doc wants to watch her temp. It's hovering right around 100.5 Maybe tomorrow she can go. She's done so well, I'm so proud of her. Lonnette is a dear friend to me as well as all who know her. We work together and she is loved by all, just one of those people you can't help but love. Please drop by her surgery page and sign her card if you haven't already. I would like her to be even more uplifted by the support of all you wonderful people here at AMOS. Everyone have a great day!!!
