My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I know that you must feel as anxious and nervous as I did ten months ago. But soon this waiting game will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 10 months post op and I have lost 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource for pre-ops. That answers all of the questions that I had when I was in your shoes. And links to various places to do more of your own research. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to that understands please feel free to email me. Jason, congratulations for taking this wonderful step to better your health and spirit! I pray your surgery is uneventful, and I have faith your future will be everything you imagined it would be and more!
Jason - hang in there with the CPAP- it is a little hard to get used to, but when you see how much better you feel from finally getting a good night's sleep - you won't have any problem at all! Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. May God hold you and your surgery team in his precious hands.
To dream anything that you want to dream, that is the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself, to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed.
