Donna came through surgery like a champ. Her nurse said she was doing well and fairly alert, but tired. She has her PCA pump and it seems to be helping. I spoke with Donna around 8pm and she sounded like she was in good spirits, although tired and was so glad it was finally over and that she is on the losing side. Donna my sweet! I am so extremely thrilled for you, this has been a long time coming and I wish I could be there, but I know Jeff and the kids are 100% behind you and will help you through this. I so wanted to talk to you before you left, but I guess you were on the road when I called. I love you and you are the best friend anyone could ever want or need, our next 30+ will be spent THIN!!!!! Mom, dad, Katy, Tim and the boys send their love and good wishes also. As always, you are in my prayers, may you have a fast and easy recovery. Remember to keep your eye on the ball....walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip, and most of all...HAPPY MELTING!!!!! Hopefully, Katy and I can make the trip later in the summer. All my love, Carebear

~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side.
