Bridget is now in her hotel room and is still feeling great! She gets to leave on Saturday (10/18) to go home to Bakersfield.

Bridget is doing GREAT!!! She was laughing and talkin like nothing even happened! She's been walking all day and was ready to leave the hospital but of course can't be discharged just yet. Her leak test went fine except that Dr. Coates said that there was either swelling or spasming at the new entrance of the pouch. He couldn't tell which but she could start on her Jello and water! If Anyone would like to call her she is at Memorial Hospital in Modesto room 328! She even got a private room!

Unofficial Angel reporting for duty!!! I spoke with Bridget tonight at about 7:00pm. She was doing great. Her surgery went very well! I had tried calling her at 5:00pm but she was still in recovery. She doesn't quite remember if the Dr. was running late or not. LOL. Anyhow, Pray for her speedy recovery!

Hi Bridget! Just wanted to say a quick hello, and I will be thinking about you tomorrow. I'm sure all will go well and you will have a GREAT recovery. Try to enjoy staying at the hotel, just kick up your feet (between walking the halls) and enjoy the time alone, and think about how great this journey ahead is going to be... Kari
