Hi Jo. This is Judy's daughter (she had the surgery on the 20th also). She is home now however not in any mood to get online so she asked me to post you a message to say that she is very happy you made it though just fine. I wanted to let you know that she did great also. She is just very tired and sore now. She has those close wound drains still in her for a couple more weeks, but feeling better each day. I hope you both will be able to keep in touch once you both are feeling up to getting online! God Bless You and Praying for speedy recoveries for you both.

I spoke to Jo this evening and she sounded good. She said she has a slight temp, but was told that sometimes, it's common to have a slight temp. She is looking forward to getting the nose tube out tomorrow, as we all were. She will be coming home on Friday. Tonya

Hi, This is Tonya, Jo's Angel. As you know, she had her surgery today, and is now an official member of the "Loser's Club"!!! I spoke to her daughter Jennie this afternoon around 2:30 and she said that Jo came through the surgery just fine and that she was in recovery at that time. They did not have to remove her gall bladder since it was okay. To quote Jennie, her mother had a "good clean surgery"! As soon as I know more, I'll let you know. Please keep Jo and her family in your prayers. Tonya

Hi Jo, I'd say don't be nervous but what's the point? I was nervous too! I always say the week before surgery was worse than the week after (for me anyway). Stay positive and keep ONLY positive people around you. Truly. I'm down 100 lbs after 7 months; it's was a great decision for me and I'm sure it will be great for you too. The results of this surgery are nothing short of amazing (I'm still in shock). I hope all your weight-loss and good health dreams come true..... Best Wishes,
