Hi Diana, This is Krissy from the Baylor group. I just wanted to say I'm so happy that you're feeling good again and taking advantage of life. I know exactly how you felt in the beginning (hating you had it, wishing and hoping it would get better, etc...). At least you didn't announce to everyone listening to Kidd Kraddick that you were sorry you had surgery! I'm SO glad I had it now, and I'm glad you're happy you had it too. Good things come to those who wait! Take care. Brightest Blessings and Love, ~Krissy Jordan

Hi Diana. I read your profile and I'm so sorry you're still experiencing complications. I know what you mean when you say: "I hate that I had this surgery!" I had complications also after my August 20th Lap-rny. 28 days after surgery I experienced two blockages (adhensional) in my small intestines----boy was I sick! The surgeon had to go back in to fix (open) the intestines and widen some things up. Anyway, the recovery time was terrible, and I can recall crying a lot and saying those exact words to my husband: "I hate that I had this surgery!" Currently, I've been having problems with protein definency, but I'm trying to take care of that my stomaching those alful protein shakes. I know all about 'emotional eating' and that's just another experience to struggle through and learn from. I can say it's gotten much easier! I do hope your struggles will soon be resolved and you'll have a full recovery. Please feel free to write and vent to me anytime----this is truly a life=changing event that requires support from whomever is willing to give it. I'm willing to give you my support anytime. Sincerely, Lori Ann e-mail: [email protected]

Hi Diana.........I was just writing to see how you are feeling. I know it's extremely hard at the beginning and couldn't you just beat anyone, who claims this is the easy way out, right in the head? I can! The down sides can be pretty down but just hang in there. When you see the results and you start feeling better then it becomes like childbirth. The pain becomes a distant memory and you are left with the wonderful results. I hope you are feeling better very soon. God bless! :)
