Hi - Diane again - I visited Jodi on Saturday and she was doing great. She went home yesterday (thanks Pamela for the info) and all is well. She had some trouble with gas pain but apparently got through it. Her incision is your typical 10-12" railroad track looking thing that looks very painful but she said it wasn't too bad after the 2nd day. It looks like Dr. Kispert did a good job sewing her back up! She walked around quite a bit while she was there, loved the nursing staff, and was discharged one day early. Now that she's back home, I'm sure she'll start posting herself. See ya.

I feel honored you shared this with me. To everyone reading I just visted with Jodi and what a great person she is. I can only pray when my turn comes I can do so well. And yes she was sore but next thing I new she was ASKING to go for a stoll! Not the first one of the day either. Bless you and again thank you for sharing from my heart.

Hi - it's Diane again. I talked to Jodi this morning and she sounds great! She's sore today from the incision and is using the morphine button as much as possible. She was going to get up again for another walk. She said her mouth is really, really dry but she should be able to move up to sips of water today. See ya.

Hi everyone - I'm Jodi's friend Diane. She had the surgery yesterday morning and her boyfriend said the surgery was a success. I'll post more for her after I talk to her today.
