ANGEL REPORT ON MARIANNE! Marianne is home and is doing extremely well! She says she even amazes herself. Not that she did anything special, but the surgery and recovery have gone so well. She says the pain was minimal, just a little soreness at the incision, but very managable. She is following doctor's orders to a T, and knows what she needs to do to be successful. She is on her way to a new, healthier life! Congratulations, Marianne!

ANGEL REPORT #2 ON MARIANNE! Marianne was very sleepy and had an extremely dry mouth when I called her this evening, so we didn't talk long. The good news is everything is going according to plan, although she says she is not feeling very well. There are no complications, and today was better than yesterday, she says. Sounds like progress to me! Keep getting stronger Marianne!

ANGEL REPORT ON MARIANNE LEMKE! Marianne came through the surgery with flying colors! The surgery took much less time than was expected. She spent a little time in the recovery room (no ICU!), and is already in her room. She gets a little oxygen when she sleeps, but there is no ng tube. Her sister, Trudy, says her color is good, and she is enjoying her "booties" that help prevent blood clots. Marianne says, "It was a BIG Mac truck" that hit her! But she has her trusty morphine pump, and is convinced it will all be worth it! Go, Marianne!!! I spoke to Marianne for the first time on the phone last night. She is such a friendly person! It was so easy to talk with her. We were on the phone for at least an hour. I felt like I had known her for years. Please drop by Marianne's surgery page and take a minute to post some good wishes to this warm, wonderful person!
