Barabara, I have no answers to your questions, I just wanted to let you know I will be holding you in my thoughts and prayers as you undergo this surgery. It sounds like you have a strong faith in God and I know this will help you through what you are facing. I had a bowel obstruction at 2+ years post-op and required major surgery and I found it to be scarier than the Open RNY I'd had 6/21/01. Thankfully, all went well and I am doing fine.
