Jill may your new life begin with a speedy recovery.You will do great.I am 1 week post and I can't tell you how bad it will hurt except you and your body will forget the pain soon. We have made the choice to live a better and healthier life and you are going down the rite raod.Blessed be you.

Congratulations on your surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I just want to let you know that here in the beginning is the toughest part. You will feel better than normal soon! These first few weeks and the surgery will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 13 months post op and I have lost nearly 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource.
