Hi Allie, I didn't have the band (had Open RNY) but it's all for the same cause. I'd say don't be nervous but what's the point? I was nervous too! I always say the week before surgery was worse than the week after (for me anyway). Man, those nerves will get to you. Just stay positive and keep ONLY positive people around you. Truly. The 13th of January is my 7 month anniversay! And I'm down 98 lbs. (maybe 100 by then) Anyway, it was a great decision for me and I'm sure it will be great for you too. I hope all your weight-loss and good health dreams come true..... Best Wishes,
