Hi Kyrm, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. In fact, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. I'd say I had more soreness than pain; all completely manageable. Keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones will just test your nerves. Don't forget to post your experiences to surgery pages when you feel better. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

A hearty congratulations to you for an uneventful surgery. I trust that you have the love, comfort and peace of the Lord. One thing about this wonderful TOOL, it will work if you follow your surgeon and nutritionist's instruction. When I started this journey about two years ago, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. My start weight was 305, wearing a TIGHT size 28-30. Today I am at 145 pounds and wearing a size 10. I am thankful to have a fulfilled life that the WLS has afforded me. Blessings to you!
