Hi Renee, That is such a cool thing to do- donate your weight loss in dog food for the shelter!! I love that idea!! My sister is the "cat caretaker" at Balmoral Raceway in Illinois and I think I will do that in cat food for her adoptees. They are always having some kind of fundraiser to get the money for health care, nutering and food. Congrats on the weight loss and THANKS for a wonderful idea! De

Hi Renee! Thanks for your update. Congrats! You are doing so well! I loved to read your note and laugh at the bike thing. I pictured myself doing the same thing some day... and also wiping out in hilarity. I am hoping to have WLS in 2004, and I plan to steal your animal shelter idea. WHEN I reach the century mark post-surgery, I will also donate 100# or$100 to Contented Critters in our areal. Thanks for the great idea! One more reason to keep working on this process. Ruthanne

Hi Renee, I bet you are getting butterflies in your stomach. I wish you the best of luck and I know that you will be fine. Just hang in there and know that you have a lot of people behind you. My surgery is coming up soon March 17th with Dr. Bauman.
