Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).

Lori, Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth and speedy recovery! Don't forget to take a pillow and/or a Bari Buddy with you to the hospital, you won't be sorry that you did! You need the pillow for all kinds of comforts from coughing to side support and frankly sometimes the hospital pillows just aren't really great. bright blessings to you in this part of the journey and much success too!
