Deb, it was so great to hear your voice on the phone. Nothing could calm my nerves until I knew you were doing well. I am so proud of you and Jason too!! You have always been a close couple, and I can only imagine how much more this will bring you together. Be patient with each other while you both adjust. Don't forget to tell each other how you feel and let the other know what you need to hear from them. The support needs to go back and forth. Don't forget to take pictures along the way, and to measure yourselves. You will be amazed at how even the littlest things will change so quickly. Duane and I are still here for you if you need anything at all. Deb - don't look up to me because I did WLS first - look up to yourself for making the choice YOU needed to make. YOU DID IT FOR YOU!!!

Wow Deb! Things are moving pretty fast for you! I can't wait to see you and Jason's before and after pictures! What an exciting thing for your family! At least you have seen what Jason has gone through which should make it easier. I hope your surgery and recovery go just as smooth as Jasons. Congrats to both of you! Michelle from Cedar Rapids
