GG, I Said a Prayer For You Today! I said a prayer for you today, and know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word, I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures of, a more loving lasting kind, I asked Him to send you blessings at the start of your new day, To grant you love and health, and to guide the surgeon's way, I asked for you to recover fast, and to become thin and small, But it was for His loving care, I prayed for most of all!

Hi Gena, here we are 15 days post-op. How are you doing? Well I hope. I am doing fine, just a little infection in the feeder tube. The nurse took a swab today and is running a culture. I am now worried though. This has been a very uneventful experiance so far, so I can"t gripe. I am still on clear liquids. My sister is cooking for the house and she is a very good cook, the smells are killing me. I feel so good though that I can stand the smells and have a cup of tea. Well, so long for now. WLS sister, Lillian, from Virgina

Gena, HI, well 9 days post-op. How you feeling? I am feeling better and better. I am still on clear liquids and no sugar, consuming about 25 calories a day, but not really hungry. Just head hungry. I now have to start watching my sodium intake. Holding a lot of water. I am having no pain, and had the JP removed yesterday by the visiting nurse. I still have a GP that will stay for a while, I go to the Dr. on Sept. 4th. to have some of the staples removed and maybe the GP. Let me know how you are doing. I will say bye for now. I'm not Gena's angel but I live in the same town that she had surgery in so I told her I would call in and keep a watch on her. She came out of surgery fine yesterday afternoon. She had the Lap and had to have her gallbladder removed. She sounds great on the phone and has already had her morning lap around the nurses station! Her pain is minimal and she does not have to have the morphine pump, only shots as needed. Let's all send her our love and best wishes!! She' crossed over to the losing side!! Sharon Allen
