Jennifer is now 10 weeks post-op and she has lost 65 lbs as of this past Wednesday. We went together to get weighed and she was shocked so bad when the scales just kept going down. The look on her face was PRICELSS.Jenn has done a beautiful job and I'm so proud of her.

Jennifer is feeling pretty good today. She has walked twice so far today, has had ice chips and no complaints about staff or anything else.She is taking it 1 hour at a time. She couldn't have the epidural so her morphine pump is doing the job for her. She hopes to go home on Thurs. or sooner. Dr. Goldman said she had a textbook surgery.Pam Geary, the bariatric nurse has been in several times to check on Jennifer and I know she is in good hands. Thanks for all your prayers. Please wish her best wishes now that she is on the LOSING side. Susy

My Angelette Jennifer is hurting but in good spirit's. I talked to her husband and he says she could not have an epidural but that morphine is her best friend tonight. She hasn't walked yet, didn't get to her room until 5 p.m. She said she feels weak but we know how she feels on her first evening. She is such a trooper and I'm so proud of her. Please keep her in your prayers.I'll update more tomorrow. Thanks. Susy

UPDATE-- Jennifer was taken to her room on 2 South at Cabell Huntington, she was doing fine, said she felt like a heavy person was sitting on her stomach. She is now a LOSER. Thank God for bringing her through and giving her a new life. Her number at Cabell is 1-304-526-2000, they will ring her room. Thanks. Susy

Jennifer's at Cabell Huntington in the holding room as I type this and should be going to OR soon. Please keep her in your prayers. She is doing fine, a little nervous but holding in there.I'll update as soon as I get to see her or know she is in recovery. Thanks
