Well hello there stranger. Yes, it has in fact been ages since we last updated one another. My journey has been, well.......a true life altering experience. As you know I started out at 311 lbs, (now brace yourself) my lowest I reached in Aug. 2004 was a sickining 111 lbs./fitting in a size 1. The emotions and the self discovery are truley an awekening I never expected. To date, I have taken a turn in my journey and getting healthier every day. I am currently 155lbs./strutting a size 8. Although I felt fantastic being at 111 lbs. mentally, physically, I was being attacked by the ones I love. I actually went to skins and bones. Its now hard for me to put this weight back on. Our dream is to be skinny and I did reach that "dream size".....but with lots of consequences. Now as Im getting healthier, I have to deal with the demons of getting fatter. Emotionaly it is draining. If there is anything you would like to hear more on I would love to be reunited with your emails again. I would also love to hear how you are doing. I read your profile, but for some reason you stopped entries at your one year mark. I hope everthing is still going smoothly for you. Please dont be a stranger. Dawn: I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's passing after WLS. There was a priest from our parish who passed away after surgery. He never left the ICU. It must have been a shock for you to lose someone close. All the best, Teresa
