Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 85 pounds!!! Good luck!

Janine: I am wishing you the best on your surgery. It takes great courage, brave heart, and and much faith in God and your self to go through what you are about to face. I am hoping greater health for you, long life, and much happiness with the new you that your are about to become. You are about to explode on a new journey as a butterfly does as she emerges from her cacoon. Take wing and embrace the new you with hope, faith, and the knowlegde that nothing worth fighting for comes easy. It will be hard, sometimes you may feel like giving up, and at times may feel depressed, and angry. Just remember others have fought the same fight, and still others like myself are about to walk the same road. Hold your head high. Hold on the the ones that went before you, and be an inspiration to the ones to follow. With each pound you lose count yourself a success and a winner. Count yourself a fighter. You are a beautiful person and a I know you are going to come out of this a much healthier and happy soul. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Hold fast that God sends his angels to hedge you in protection, and He will not let you go. When you are at your weakest--He is at His Strongest. We love you and are behind you 100%.. Janine, Good luck honey! You'll do great - just follow directions, ask a lot of questions, and move as soon as you can. Don't try and rush along your progress - enjoy only being able to eat little amounts. Exercise is really important so get moving as soon as you are cleared, but find something you enjoy doing! We're all here to support and encourage you so just yell if you need a pep talk! God Bless - Jumping Janice
